why participate in a company team building activity with Habitat?
Company team building activities make life-changing differences for families seeking affordable housing. Through a meaningful day of service and donation, company team building opportunities improve employee satisfaction, morale, leadership capabilities, and overall company culture.
Your contribution is needed. The cost of construction for each Habitat home is over $140,000. Your donation and volunteer hours are crucial to the construction of an affordable home and are unforgettable to the future homeowner. Your group’s participation will will improve the lives of a local family and benefit the entire community.
We are excited to highlight your company’s community outreach on our social media accounts, in our newsletter, and elsewhere within the community. Wearing matching t-shirts with your organization’s logo is highly recommended.

what else should you know about company team building activities?
Company team building opportunities are typically held on Wednesdays from 8:30am-2:30pm, but we are able to accommodate a different day if necessary.
We ask participating organizations to make a tax-deductible donation of at least $1,000 per build-day to Habitat for Humanity of Delaware & Union Counties to directly support a future homeowner.
We encourage you to have up to eight associates participate on your build day.
Habitat for Humanity of Delaware & Union Counties will provide a skilled construction supervisor to lead your team.
